2AM leader Jo Kwon and Brown Eyed Girls' member Ga-in have announced on their official me2day site (Korean version of Twitter) that they will end their make-believe marriage on MBC's reality show "We Got Married."
The two idol singers (known as the "Adam Couple") posted several pictures from the show with a comment saying, "We have made so many unforgettable memories during the year and three months that we have shot the show. We always did our best and our feelings for one another were honest as well."
"We want to thank the fans who watched the show and have shared our memories...your support led us to where we are now. We thank you wholeheartedly and look forward to more from us individually in the future. Thank you so much!"
Jo Kwon and Ga-in first began their make-believe marriage in early October 2009, making them the longest couple on the show to date. They also released a duet titled "We Fell Love" which held the No. 1 spot on various online and offline music charts early this year and won the best newcomer award during the 2010 MBC Entertainment Awards.
Outside of the show, Jo Kwon is the leader of the four-member ballad group 2AM and have released their first full-length album "Saint o'clock" and held their first-ever concert last month.
Having made her debut in 2006 as one of the main vocalists in Brown Eyed Girls, Ga-in released her first solo album "step 2/4" and promoted its title track "Irreversible" which topped various online and offline music charts since its release on October 8.
