PSY has taken home another trophy from KBS' televised music program.
Amidst the ongoing media frenzy over his possible Billboard win this week, PSY earned his fifth win on "Music Bank" with "Gangnam Style" last Friday, though he was not able to attend the show.
Edging out hip-hop musician G-Dragon's "That XX," the feat has also put PSY on his third straight win after being held off by KARA's "Pandora" on September 7.
PSY has been the talk of the town in the country and abroad as his popular hit made a giant leap to No. 2 from No. 64 on Billboard Hot 100 last Thursday in just two weeks.
Achieving countless record-breaking history with the smash-hit tune, to which the musician said he will dance topless in front of a huge crowd if it ranks at No. 1 on the Hot100, the rapper will also put up a show during the 17th Busan International Film Festival opening in Busan for ten days starting October 4.
Meanwhile, other K-pop artists that graced the stage on last Friday's "Music Bank" are KARA, Secret, FTIsland, U-KISS, T-ara, Mighty Mouth, B.A.P and BTOB.
