K-pop sweetheart Hyuna, also known as a member of girl group 4minute, is set to reveal her new look and sound with a new album next week.
The iconic star is coming back to local music scene on October 10 with her second mini-album “MELTING,” her agency Cube Entertainment told the magazine Wednesday.
Listing five tracks including title track “ICE CREAM,” the title track of the same name is made by hit songwriter Brave Brothers of After School's "Diva," Son Dambi's "Crazy" and SISTAR's "Alone."
To heat up her fans' expectations, Hyuna revealed a cartoon-like image this morning that gives clues about her next musical concept.
Hyuna, the lead rapper of 4minute that made their debut in 2009, kicked off her solo career with the first single “Change,” featuring her labelmate BEAST’s Yong Jun-hyung, in 2010.
“Bubble Pop!,” her first mini-album dropped last year, gained noticeable popularity around the world with the synth-pop title track of the same name.
The singer also put her name on the American music magazine SPIN by grabbing the No. 3 spot of the Favorite Pop Tracks of 2011 chart, following behind pop musicians Adele and Beyonce.
