Seven-member boy band INFINITE's "The Chaser" was the No. 1 song on televised music programs over the weekend.
In just two weeks since their comeback last month, INFINITE won the top spot on KBS' "Music Bank" on Friday and received their first Mutizen Award on SBS' "Inkigayo" on Sunday.
"We first want to thank our parents for everything they have given us, and also to everyone at Woollim Entertainment as well as our fans for always showing their support," INFINITE member Hoya said during their acceptance speech.
Last Thursday, the boys took home their first win with "The Chaser" on Mnet's "M! CountDown." However, their victories on KBS and SBS make it their first two wins on public networks since making their debut in April 2010.
Currently, INFINITE is promoting the title track "The Chaser," from their third mini-album “INFINITIZE,” on televised music programs, also making appearances on variety shows.
Composed of Sung-kyu, Dong-woo, Woo-hyun, L, Sung-yeol, Hoya and Sung-jong, INFINITE made their official debut with the first studio album "First Invasion" in June, 2010.
The boys are popular with their powerful dance moves and hit songs under their belt such as "Come Back Again," "Before the Dawn (BTD)," "She's Back," "Nothing's Over," "Be Mine" and “Paradise.”
