Korean idol group INFINITE has chased down their first win on Mnet's weekly music show with their latest tune, "The Chaser."
INFINITE's "The Chaser," from their third mini-album "INFINITIZE," earned the boys the first win after their comeback this month, by being named the song of the week on Mnet's "M! CountDown" Thursday.
However, the artists did not perform due to the broadcaster airing a special of the past winners of the show during the first half of this year.
The special episode featured live performances by this year's former winners including A PINK, T-ara, MBLAQ, FTIsland, Se7en, miss A, Big Bang, SHINee, CNBLUE, Busker Busker, SISTAR, 4minute, Girls' Generation TTS and Shinhwa.
Currently, INFINITE is promoting the title track "The Chaser" on televised music programs and making appearances on variety shows.
Composed of Sung-kyu, Dong-woo, Woo-hyun, L, Sung-yeol, Hoya and Sung-jong, INFINITE made their official debut with the first studio album "First Invasion" in June, 2010.
The boys are popular with their powerful dance moves and hit songs under their belt such as "Come Back Again," "Before the Dawn (BTD)," "She's Back," "Nothing's Over," "Be Mine" and “Paradise.”
