Korean boy band BEAST rocked the stage of MTV's music festival in Malaysia over the weekend, according to their agency Cube Entertainment on Tuesday.
Cube announced in a press release that BEAST, who was representatives for Korea, performed their hit songs "Shock," "Soom," "Beautiful" and "On Rainy Days" at the MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011 held at the i-City Shah Alam on July 24.
The boys shared the stage with other international artists such as Thirty Seconds to Mars, Neon Trees and Pop Shuvit, while the show will be broadcasted worldwide in 160 countries and air in Korea on August 19.
BEAST, formed of members Du-jun, Hyun-seung, Yo-seop, Dong-woon, Gi-kwang and Jun-hyung, has been one of the most popular boy bands in Korea since making their debut in 2009.
They had gained popularity in several countries in Asia as well after taking part in events overseas starting the summer of last year and made their official debut into the Japanese music market earlier this year which has taken off to a successful start.
The boys will wrap up their Asia tour on July 30 in China after visiting Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Japan and Taiwan.
The group will then prepare for the UNITED CUBE CONCERT along with fellow Cube Entertainment artists which will take place at the Jamsil Outdoor Stadium in Seoul on August 14.
