Korean boy band BEAST will give a special farewell performance on Mnet's weekly music program with a new track from their first full-length album today, according to their agency Cube Entertainment.
On Thursday, Cube announced in a press release that BEAST will perform song "You" on Mnet's "M! CountDown" tonight, making it the first and only time they will sing the tune.
"The boys chose this song for their final performance since it is way to show their fans their gratitude on their triple crown win on 'M! CountDown' with title track 'Fiction,'" a PR official from Cube told 10Asia over the phone.
BEAST, who made their comeback to the local music scene with "Fiction and Fact" in May, has also scored a number of consecutive wins on KBS' "Music Bank" and SBS' "Inkigayo."
The six-member boy band will wrap up their activities this weekend on "Inkigayo" and will resume their promotional activities for their second Japanese single "BAD GIRL" in Japan which made its debut at No. 3 on Oricon’s daily chart upon its release yesterday.
The boys will then head off to several countries in Asia for their fan tour which will kick off in Malaysia in July.
BEAST made their debut in October 2009 with their first mini-album “"BEAST IS THE B2ST" and has since produced hit songs such as “Bad Girl,” “SHOCK" and “Soom.”
