CNBLUE to release special limited edition album this week

Korean boy band CNBLUE will release a special limited edition of their first full-length album this week, according to a press release from their agency FNC Music.

On Tuesday, FNC announced that CNBLUE's album "FIRST STEP," which went on sale on March 21, will be released in the form of a special limited edition which will include a 80-page pictorial featuring shots from their music video for their title track "Intuition" and upcoming video "LOVE GIRL."

"We have decided to produce the special limited edition of 'FIRST STEP' since the fans have shown a lot of support and love for it," an official from FNC was quoted as saying. "The new release will also reveal never-before-seen photos of the group."

CNBLUE -- composed of members Jung Yong-hwa, Kang Min-hyuk, Lee Jong-hyun and Lee Jung-shin -- made their debut in Korea early last with their hit single "Alone" and mini-album "Bluetory" after releasing two singles in Japan.

They shot to instant fame in Korea with Jung's appearance in popular TV series "He is Beautiful" (SBS, 2009) alongside actors Jang Keun-suk, Park Shin-hye and Lee Hong-ki.

CNBLUE has also led a successful music career overseas, going double platinum in Taiwan and placing in the top ranks of the prestigious Oricon chart in Japan. They have also held several fan meetings and concerts in the country which were attended by several thousand fans.

They recently returned to the local music scene with their first full-length album "FIRST STEP" and have topped a number of online music charts as well as winning on televised music programs with their title track "Intuition."
