CNBLUE wins on "Music Bank," K.will takes over "Inkigayo"

Rock band CNBLUE were crowned the winners on KBS' live music show and K.will on SBS’ show over the weekend.

CNBLUE’s latest title song “Intuition” came first on Friday’s “Music Bank,” following their victory on cable music channel Mnet’s music show “M! CountDown” the day earlier.

“We didn’t expect to rise to No. 1 this fast,” said CNBLUE members in their acceptance speech after beating TVXQ who had competed against the quartet with ballad “Before U Go.” “It was an honor to be on just the same stage with our seniors TVXQ and we would like to hand this honor to our agency and families who helped us get this far.”

CNBLUE’s “Intuition” which sings of the ominous intuition one has of breaking up with his lover, is the title track to CNBLUE’s first regular album “FIRST STEP” released two weeks ago and has also topped singles chart of both Mnet and Gaon’s weekly music chart upon the first week of their release.

Ballad singer K.will, meanwhile, rejoiced his win on SBS’ “Inkigayo” with his song “My Heart Beating” on Sunday.

K.will, overwhelmed by his first win ever on a televised show, hardly managed to give his acceptance speech from crying. He said "Thank you" as other singers chanted “Don’t cry” and he then went on to thank his family, agency and friends.

“My Heart Beating,” from K.will’s second mini-album, sings of the budding love between two lovers who have just met.

Other singers that appeared on the stages for both “Music Bank” and “Inkigayo” included TVXQ, Kim Tae-woo, U-Kiss, Yangpa, CNBLUE, Wheesung, Orange Caramel, Maya, J-CERA, Girl’s Day, M4 and ZE:A,
