Actor Yoon Sang-hyun releases 1st regular album in Japan

Actor Yoon Sang-hyun released an album in Japan on Wednesday, said his agency MGB Entertainment the same day.

According to a press release by MGB, Yoon released his first full-length album “Precious Days” in Japan today which also includes a special photo book that carries never-before-seen pictures of Yoon.

In line with the album's release, Yoon will hold showcases, high-five and hand shaking events in the cities of Osaka and Tokyo on February 19 and 20, respectively, followed by a mini-live concert and fan meeting in Tokyo on February 25 and in Osaka two days later.

Although Yoon started his career in acting, he released two single albums in Japan last year including “Saigo No Ame” (The Last Rain) and “Chikai” (An oath), the former one reaching No.11 on the prestigious Oricon chart the day of its release.

Yoon will also pick 100 fans who purchased his artist book “笑門來福” (translated “Smile is the key to all good fortune) to attend an autograph session at Sony Noizaka on February 21.

Yoon, 37, debuted with TV series "Marrying a Millionaire" (SBS, 2005) and has since appeared in dramas “Winter Bird” (2007) and “The Secret of Keu Keu Island” (MBC, 2008).

He rose to stardom through smash-hit series "Queen of Housewives." (MBC, 2009) which he followed up with “My Fair Lady” (SBS, 2009).

Most recently, he appeared in popular drama “Secret Garden” (SBS, 2010) where he appeared as Hallyu singer Oska and actually sang the songs his character sings in the show.

He is currently looking into his next project, this time on the big screen alongside his other activities in Japan.
