Korean boy band INFINITE's Japan debut single "TO-RA-WA" has come in at No. 1 on a music chart in Japan.
According to Woollim Entertainment on Friday, "TO-RA-WA," the boys’ Korean song “Come Back Again” whose title has been changed for its release in Japan, came in first place under the K-pop category on music.jp’s mobile music daily chart of on the day of its release on January 26.
"We have begun holding several promotional events for INFINITE through television, newspaper, magazine and the radio after signing with CCC, a subsidiary company of Japan's Tsutaya Records, last year," an official from Woollim told 10Asia over the phone on Friday.
The seven-member boy band will also hold their first-ever showcase in the Tokyo on April 2.
Composed of members Sung-kyu, Woo-hyun, Hoya, Dong-woo, Sung-yeol, Sung-jong and L, INFINITE made their debut in April 2010 through Mnet's reality TV show "INFINITE! You are the One" and has since released songs "Come Back Again" and "She's Back."
They are currently promoting their title track "Before The Dawn (BTD)" from their mini-album "EVOLUTION," which was released in Korea on January 6.
