Korean rock band CNBLUE visited Thailand this week to attend a promotional event for a cosmetic brand, according to their agency FNC Music on Friday.

"The boys flew into Thailand on January 26 for a promotional event titled 'Holika Holika Presents Magic Party for CNBLUE' for a new store opening for local cosmetic brand Holika Holika," an official from FNC told 10Asia over the phone.

She further explained that the boys have returned to Korea and are currently working on the release of their upcoming first full-length album. "So far the group has finished recording the songs and will be preparing to shoot the music video and album cover."

Earlier this month, CNBLUE went on a countdown which counts the hours and days until February 23 on which their first full-length studio release will go on sale.

Making their singing debut in Japan in 2008, CNBLUE splashed onto the music scene in Korea with their hit single “Alone” early last year. They followed it up with other hit songs including “Love” and “Love Light.”

They have led a successful music career overseas as well, going double platinum in Taiwan and placing in the top ranks of the prestigious Oricon chart in Japan.

Outside of their group activities, the boys have expanded their careers in the entertainment industry, appearing in dramas, movies and a number of variety shows.
