CNBLUE emerges No.2 on Japanese Oricon chart CNBLUE's 3rd album jacket 'RE-MAINTENANCE" [FNC Music]

Korean male idol group CNBLUE’s new single “RE-MAINTENANCE” has debuted in second place on Japan's prestigious Oricon daily chart.

Oricon's website showed Monday that the rock band's third Japanese single album “RE-MAINTENANCE” took the No. 2 spot on the daily chart in just a day of going on sale on January 9.

The latest release marks the boys' entry into the major music scene -- they had kicked off their singing career in Japan's indie scene which had been a success so far, their albums ranking within the top 10 slots of the Oricon's indies charts.

“RE-MAINTENANCE” contains four songs written and composed by CNBLUE's members themselves: the title track “Try Again Smile Again,” “Don’t Say Good Bye,” “Kimio” and the instrumental version of “Try Again Smile Again."

Meanwhile, CNBLUE is currently on a four-city concert tour in Japan known as the “Zepp Tour” covering cities of Fukuoka on January 11, Nagoya on January 13 and Tokyo on January 16. They wrapped up their first concert in Osaka on Sunday.

CNBLUE, composed of members Jung-shin, Jong-hyun, Yong-hwa and Min-hyuk, made their debut in Korea early last year with their hit single "Alone" and mini-album "Bluetory" after releasing two singles in Japan.

The group has led a successful music career overseas as well, going double platinum in Taiwan and seeing sold-out shows while on tour in Asia last year in countries including Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and China.
