JYP Entertainment C.E.O and producer Park Jin-young has found himself caught in a plagiarism scandal.

JYP Entertainment is under fierce pressure over claims Park plagiarized his song made for songstress IU, "Someday."

"Someday" is one of the songs listed in the soundtrack to KBS teen drama "Dream High," aired between January and February in 2011.

Korean composer Kim Shin-il filed a compensation case against Park on July 11, saying Park plagiarized a song called "My Man" he wrote for singer Ash.

Into four months of Kim taking legal actions, the justice department said it has found the similarities between the two songs and required Park to pay the compensation. Park resisted, however, and appealed to a higher court.

On November 7, Park attended the hearing and appeared in the public for the first time for the scandal but the firm has not issued any statement yet.
