Rookie actor Choi Woo-shik has inked his management deal with Korea's major talent agency JYP Entertainment.
The top talent firm, which manages from actors to K-pop stars, will now be guiding the career of Choi, the company said in a press release Thursday.
JYP explained that they have fixed their eyes on the young actor since he made his debut last year. Keeping their eyes on Choi’s strong potential, such as his reliable acting and fluent English skills.
Now working under the same roof with K-pop idols Wonder Girls, 2PM and 2AM, Choi is currently starring in KBS’ weekday sitcom “Shut Up Family,” playing the brother of SISTAR’s Dasom.
Choi will take a minor role in the Korean heartthrob Kim Soo-hyun’s upcoming pic “Covertness,” set to begin its four-month shooting in two weeks.
The "Rooftop Prince" actor is JYP's second actor following the newbie actress Kim So-young.
