XIA, also known as Kim Junsu of K-pop group JYJ, is setting off for his last destination for the grand world tour.
The talented singer is gearing up to hold the final show of his continent-hopping tour at Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen, Germany on November 30, C-Jes Entertainment said in a statement Tuesday.
“Kim has proved his overwhelming popularity in Germany by topping Asian music chart there for two straight months with his English single ‘TARANTALLEGRA.’ The Germany concert will be a big gift for his European fans,” a staff member of the event was quoted as saying.
XIA, who is the first K-pop solo artist to hold such a large-scale world tour, will be the first Asian artist to light up the coveted concert hall that has been graced by popular rock bands such as Korn, Motor head and Stone sour.
The “Uncomitted” singer hit the road in May for his worldwide tour with the release of the first solo record “TARANTALLEGRA." He brought in a total of 55,000 fans in six cities in Asia and five cities in America, the officials said.
