Kim Jae-joong's Hostage Comedy Sets Local Opening Date

JYJ member Kim Jae-joong's hostage comedy is lifting its lid off next month.

According to the film's distributor Lotte Entertainment, director Bae Hyeong-joon's "The Jackal is Coming" is hitting local theaters on November 15.

Starring Kim and actress Song Ji-hyo, the comedy pic goes around the story of a mysterious female killer kidnapping a top idol star. She comes up with different methods to murder the celebrity.

Bae, who produced Gang Dong-won and Kim Ha-neul's "Don't Believe Her" (2004), is wielding the megaphone for the duo's new starrer.

As much as this is the singer and actor's debut screen project, Kim has been building up extra hype and anticipation for "The Jackal" by attending the 17th Busan International Film Festival and other screening events.
