PSY Remains No. 2 on Billboard for 3rd Straight Week, But Gains Bigger Achievement

PSY has failed again to surprise the world by grabbing the top seed on the Billboard Hot 100, but he had a bigger achievement of wrapping up the ugly turmoil with his old colleague.

PSY stood strong at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the third consecutive week in the second week of October, held off by the overwhelming popularity of Marron 5’s “One More Night."

The “Gangnam Style” superstar also slipped down to No. 2 on U.K’s coveted Official Charts Company singles chart on Sunday.

However, PSY reaffirmed his friendship with the Korean singer Kim Jang-hoon by drinking a bottle of soju [Korean Vodka] at last night's "Night of the Stars 2012" held at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul.

To solve their issues and publicly apologize for their quarrel, Kim made an unexpected visit to the event and offered a bottle of soju to PSY as a meaning of reunion. PSY reportedly accepted Kim’s peaceful gesture with both tears and laughter.

Thanks to PSY's frequent appearance with soju in the media, the king of concert has been receiving a hailing proposes from soju companies asking for him to model for their products.

The global star is flying to Australia next Monday to resume his international promotions including the popular audition show “The X Factor Australia.”

After heating up the island, PSY will bound to the United States for the release of his first U.S. album in November. He will then hit Germany to walk the red carpet at MTV EMA 2012 in Frankfurt, where he has been named as a nominee of the Best Video section.
