PSY is uniting the world as one with his colorful music video.
PSY’s highly addictive “Gangnam Style” proved its unstoppable popularity as its YouTube music video finally shattered the 400 million mark Monday morning.
In ten days of scoring 300 million views, the sensational star has stepped into the top ten list of most-watched videos on YouTube, vying with global pop stars Justin Bieber, Jenifer Ropez and Eminem.
Although the smashing-hit tune ranked at No. 9 this time, the “Right Now” singer’s ranking is expected to rise even more soon since the video continues to see its sweeping upturn.
From hitting 100 million on September 4, it took only 34 days for the gallopping star to reach 400 million this week.
What is more, the viral video is the only clip among the top ten all-time videos to be released this year on the world's biggest video streaming website.
America’s music chart Billboard, which listed the singer on No. 2 during the last two weeks, also foresees PSY’s throne on this week’s Billboard Hot 100, set to open on Wednesday in local time.
The Korean public hero is flying to Australia next Monday and will continue his promotion abroad including the United States by rolling out the first U.S. album in the end of November.
