Song Joong-ki welcomes another actress added to new TV seres' lineup

KBS' upcoming TV series starring actor Song Joong-ki has added another actress to the growing list of cast memebers.

Lee Yu-bi, who is known for her role in MBN's "Vampire Idol" (2011-2012), confirmed through sidus HQ's press release on Tuesday that she will play the younger sister of Song Joong-ki's character in "Chakan Namja" (in Romanized Korean), starting August.

sidus HQ explained that in the story, Kang Choco (Lee Yu-bi) will be falling in love with Jae-gil (Lee Kwang-soo), who is the best friend of Kang Ma-roo (Song Joong-ki).

As the actress confirms her cast in the series, the officials said "Chakan Namja" is now all set to go into production with the ensemble of five main cast members settled.

Earlier this month, actress Park Si-yeon's agency confirmed through a statement that she will be portraying Song's lover in the series.

The pair's drama will follow the story of Kang Ma-roo, who gets dumped by Han mostly because she puts her career first before everything else including her love life.

"Chakan Namja," which is translated into 'Good-hearted Man,' is to be produced by director Kim Ji-won and scenarist Lee Kyun-hee of "I'm Sorry, I Love You."
