"My Husband Got a Family" still leads weekly TV ratings chart

TV series "My Husband Got a Family" has let KBS coast to yet another weekly ratings win, according to data compiled by TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics).

Marking its ninth consecutive win on weekly TV ratings chart, "My Husband" saw its viewership ratings rise by a percentage point and record 33.7 percent between May 14 and 20.

Starring actor Yoo Jun-sang and actress Kim Nam-joo, the top-rated show has shown unstable numbers as the number plunged three percentage points early this month, but it has managed to stay above the 30 percent mark.

MBC's "Light and Shadow" climbed up a rung and finished in second with 20.4 percent in ratings, which is a rise of just 0.4 percentage points from the last week.

The Ahn Jae-wook and Son Dambi's starrer is currently a strong winner of the Monday and Tuesday primetime lineup by attracting over a double of the runner-up "Rooftop Prince" ratings.

Next up was KBS' comedy show "Gag Concert," which drew in 20.4 percent rating and lost its tight competition with "Light and Shadow" during the same time frame, the demographic showed.

In the meantime, MBC's "Supper of the Gods" and KBS daily drama "Reaching for the Stars" each drew in 18.1 and 17.5 of the total viewers.

Other TV shows in the chart's top ten include KBS 9 o'clock News, SBS' variety show "I Like Sundays," SBS drama "My Daughter the Flower," SBS' "Wow How" and SBS' Wednesday and Thursday series "Rooftop Prince."

Meanwhile, AGB Nielson Media Research's figure showed that "My Husband" grabbed the top seed with 34 percent rating, followed by "Gag Concert" and "Supper of the Gods" going neck-and-neck with 19.6 and 19.5 ratings, respectively during the same period.
