Korean idol groups 2PM and 2AM’s Japanese documentary film, which will feature their lives as K-pop singers since their debut in 2008, will be released in June.
The debut partners of JYP Entertainment delivered the news when they landed in Tokyo International Airport on Tuesday, announcing that “Beyond the ONEDAY ‘Story of 2PM & 2AM’” will open in local theaters starting June 30, 2AM's promoter Big Hit Entertainment said through a press release on Thursday.
“We spent our training period with 2AM. Due to our busy schedule, we didn’t have that many chances to meet up these days,” 2PM added in the statement.
“We’re very thankful to be making the film with our labelmates who spent six years with us and hope that more people would get to know us better by watching the documentary.”
The agency noted that the film will include clips from "JYP NATION in Japan 2011," where 2PM and 2AM had staged joint performances, backstage scenes and the members' in-depth interviews.
In the meantime, 2AM announced their second Japanese single "You Wouldn't Answer My Calls," which lists the Japanese versions of "You Wouldn't Answer My Calls," "Like Crazy" and "'瞳をとじて " (meaning 'Closing my eyes'), on Wednesday.
