Korean solo artist PSY will pursue his singing activities in Japan this June, according to his agency YG Entertainment.
A PR official with YG told 10Asia over the phone on Wednesday that PSY will most likely make his official singing debut in Japan this June.
"We are currently mapping out the schedule regarding PSY's Japanese debute, like setting the official date and selecting which songs he will be going with," the official said.
PSY gave his first performance in Japan during YG Entertainment's 15th anniversary concert held at the Kyocera Dome Osaka in Osaka in early January, with his fellow labelmates Se7en, 2NE1, Big Bang, Gummy and Tablo.
Born Park Jae-sang, PSY made his local debut with his first album "Psy From the Psycho World" in 2001. He is well-known for his hit songs "Bird," "Champion" and "Celebrity."
