Korean boy band BEAST made their way to the top spot on Gaon's music chart last week with their new digital single, according to the data by Gaon on Thursday.
Gaon's singles chart showed that BEAST's latest song "I Knew It," released on January 26, debuted at No. 1 which pushed last week's winner T-ara's "Lovey-Dovey" to third place.
"I Knew It," a ballad tune, is one of the several songs that BEAST will perform for their fans during the upcoming world tour "BEAUTIFUL SHOW."
Girl group SISTAR member Hyolyn's remake of "I Will Love You," originally sung by folk group Zoo, secured its spot in second place after climbing up seven slots from the previous week.
Meanwhile, female idols DAL★SHABET's fourth mini-album "Hit U" was crowned the most-popular record on Gaon's chart.
The special compilation album "The Best Collection 2000~2011" by veteran songstress Lee Eun-mi entered the chart in second place while T-ara's fifth mini-album "Funky Town" slipped to the No. 3 spot.
