Korean girl group KARA has collected another title in Japan with their fifth Japanese single claiming gold disc status, making it their fourth time to achieve such a feat.
According to the data for October revealed on the official website of the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ), the girls' latest Japanese single "Winter Magic" was certified gold after moving 100,000 copies since its release on October 19.
KARA had previously obtained gold status with their albums "Girl's Talk," “KARA BEST 2007-2010” and DVD "KARA BEST CLIPS."
KARA, composed of members Gu Hara, Han Seung-yeon, Park Gyu-lee, Kang Ji-young and Nicole, is currently one of the most successful Korean girl groups to break into the Japanese market.
The girls are set to release their special Japanese album "Super Girl" on November 23.
