The fifth Japanese single by girl group KARA has placed within the top five slots of Japan's Oricon music chart.
On Thursday, KARA's "Winter Magic" came in fourth on Oricon's daily music chart upon its release in the country on October 19.
"Winter Magic" has been produced in three editions with two being limited editions -- limited edition A will include the album and DVD with the music video, limited edition B will be composed of the album and a 28-page photo booklet -- while the regular edition will feature the album plus a bonus track.
The girls have been promoting the new release in Japan with various appearances and performances on entertainment and music programs.
KARA, composed of members Gu Hara, Han Seung-yeon, Park Gyu-lee, Kang Ji-young and Nicole, is currently one of the most successful Korean girl groups to break into the Japanese market.
Locally, the girls have wrapped up promoting their latest dance tune "STEP," from their third full-length album of the same name, and have taken wins on televised music programs.
