“Smile Again” remains unbeatable for 11th week Daily drama "Smile Again" [KBS]

KBS daily drama “Smile Again” remained atop the weekly TV charts for the 11th straight week though it saw a slight drop in overall rating, revealed two media research companies on Monday.

“Smile Again” posted an average viewership rating of 38.4 percent on Total National Multimedia Statistics’ (TNmS) survey and 37.5 percent on AGB Nielsen Media Research’s (AGB) poll, showing a nearly three to four percent drop from its past week when it breached 40 percent mark.


In last week’s episodes, the owner of Hotel Camellia gets falsely charged for tax embezzlement secretly perpetrated by Do-jin (Lee Jang-woo) in order to prevent him from passing down the his fortune to his grandson Dong-hae (Ji Chang-wook).

KBS’ weekend drama “My Love My Family” which came second for a fourth consecutive week, marked an average viewership rating of 22.4 percent on TNmS' chart and 23 percent on AGB’s report, showing not much change from the past week.


In the last two episodes, Dong-hoon (Lee Jae-ryeong) who learns of his wife Hye-jin’s (Park Joo-mi) “special” relationship with her boss Seung-woo (Lee Sang-woo), meets the boss himself to punch him in the face. He then asks his wife to leave the house.


Meanwhile the No. 3 spot was taken by KBS 9 o’clock which went up a notch from the previous chart after scoring an average viewership rating of 20.5 percent on TNmS' chart and 21.6 percent on AGB’s survey.
