Jo Sung-mo to hold showcase for new album on Sunday

Korean singer Jo Sung-mo will hold a showcase for his upcoming special album on Sunday, according to his agency S Plus Entertainment on Friday.

"He will be meeting with some 500 fans, of which 100 are Japanese, at a club located in Gangnam, where he perform several tracks from the new album and reveal the track list as well," a PR manager from S Plus told 10Asia over the phone.

Jo, who is making a music comeback after a year and six month hiatus over a leg injury, will be releasing a special album titled "Sung-mo, Meet Brave" three days after the showcase.

He released a 40-second teaser video for the new song titled "Do You Want to have an Affair" on multimedia video player GomPlayer earlier today.

Jo, 33, made his debut in 1998 with his first album featuring hit song "To Heaven." He then released several other full-length records as well as contributing to a number of drama soundtracks.

He will be taking the stage at Mnet's "M! Countdown" for his comeback performance next Thursday.
