2PM to release 1st Japanese single in May

Korean idol group 2PM will release their first Japanese single in May, according to their agency JYP Entertainment (JYPE) on Monday. According to a press release by JYPE, the six-member boy band who performed at the fashion show for Tokyo Girls Collection (TGC) in Tokyo last Saturday, also announced at the event the same day that its first Japanese single album “Take Off” is due for release in the country on May 18. The single has already been set as the ending theme song for Japanese TV animation “Blue Exorcist” which will go on air starting April 10. 2PM also plans to release their new DVD titled “ALL ABOUT 2PM” on March 9 that will feature all of the group's albums as well as special video clips the members produced themselves.On March 30, the DVD of 2PM's special concert last September titled “2PM 1st Concert in SEOUL ‘Don’t STOP CAN’T STOP’” will go on sale in Japan.2PM has already released their other DVD “Hottest ∼ 2PM 1st MUSIC VIDEO COLLECTION & The History ∼” in Japan last November followed by a large showcase event a month after in Tokyo's Ryokoku Kokugikan last December which attracted over 25,000 local fans.
