The new Japanese single from Korean boy band ZE:A has placed at No. 2 on the prestigious Oricon music chart. Their latest single album titled "Love Letter/My Only Wish," which was released on December 21, claimed second place on Oricon's daily chart, according to the Oricon chart as of Tuesday. "We are thankful and honored that the boys' latest single has done better than we expected," an official from their agency Star Empire Entertainment was quoted as saying, adding that the boys are busy preparing for the release of their full-length album in Korea in February next year. ZE:A, short for Children of the Empire, made their debut in January this year with their mini-album "Nativity" and followed it up with "Leap for Detonation" and "Level Up." The group began their activities in Japan after performing on music program "SEOUL TRAIN," which introduces K-pop artists to local fans, in early March. They signed with Japanese entertainment company IMX in July to manage their career in the country and placed at No. 3 on Oricon's daily singles chart with their first Japanese album "ZE:A!" and held a sold-out concert in the country last month.
