Top Korean hip-hop group Epik High will return to the music scene with a new album next month.
YG Entertainment said in a press release Friday that the three-member hip-hop group will roll out the seventh studio album on October 19, which will be their first album release after its sixth album "e" dropped in 2009.
Ahead of kicking off official promotional activities, Epik High will give a sneak peek into the record by revealing "It's Cold" [translated title], featuring "KPOP STAR" (2011-2012) finalist Lee Hi, beforehand on October 9.
Lee is well-known for YG's soon-to-debut songstress that got cast after becoming one of the three popular and talented female contestants of SBS' hit audition program.
Epik High made their debut with the 2003 album, "Map of the Human Soul." The hip-hop trio gained much fame through the success of their consequent albums "High Society" (2004) and "Swan Songs" (2005).
The group halted their singing activities for a while due to members Mithra Jin and DJ Tukutz entering the military to fulfill their two-year mandatory service.
After the two members were discharged, Epik High announced their plan to pursue singing career under the guidance of YG Entertainment in July.
