G-Dragon fascinates fans with new one-of-a-kind music video

Big Bang's member G-Dragon has become the talk of the town with his newly released music video.

After his three-year-long hiatus as a solo artist, the “Heartbreaker” singer released the music video for "ONE OF A KIND" onto his agency YG Entertainment's official blog, YG LIFE BLOG, last Saturday.

Officials said in a press release sent Saturday that the trendy hip-hop tune leads off his solo album, which has yet to be set in its release date, title and format.

Like G-Dragon confesses in "ONE OF A KIND," the singer shows off numerous luxurious items from Chanel and accessory brand Chrome Hearts.

What caught the eyes of many music fanatics and his die-hard fans online are its straightforward lyrics of "ONE OF A KIND."

The young but experienced musician keeps showing his confidence throughout the song until when the lyrics go “Sorry if I'm better than you" and "Even though you hate and refuse seeing me, you should listen to my music everywhere" [translated lyrics].

But when the song reaches its peak, G-Dragon who knows well how to surprise the audience suddenly changes his attitude into being adorable, singing “Lalala, please take this as a sign of affection. Please don't curse at me. Lalala, please consider me as a cute guy. Please love me" [translated lyrics].

Along with such a reversal of the lyrics as well as his fashion style, the one-of-a-kind clip uploaded on Big Bang’s official YouTube channel has already attracted about 4.9 million views as of Monday afternoon.

G-Dragon, who is one of the hottest musicians among K-pop acts, broke into the music scene as the leader of top idol band Big Bang in 2006.

The artist kicked off his solo singing career with the first solo album "Heartbreaker" in 2009.
