Former T-MAX member Park Yun-hwa will be discharged from his mandatory military duties on Wednesday, according to his agency Made In's press release.
Park, who entered the army in November 2010, fulfilled his mandatory two-year military service as a member of the military band in his camp based in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province.
"I feel that I had time to figure out what I lack as an artist and mature during the last two years, not only by singing but as a pianist and clarinetist of the military band," Park said in the statement.
"There were difficult moments while on duty, personally, but I was able to bear through the long period with the support and love of my fans. I hope to return their gratitude with my music and future activities."
In between wrapping up the military duty and prepping for his solo album, the officials explained that Park will take a short break for himself.
"We have received many offers from abroad for overseas events, musicals and dramas. Further announcements regarding the issue will be made once we decide on his comeback project."
Park made his debut as a member of group T-MAX with the debut single "BLOOMING" in 2007.
