Pictures of actor Song Joong-ki on the set of his forthcoming KBS TV series have been released.
The unveiled photos feature Song in a checkered pattern shirt with a backpack and carrying a book for KBS' new Wednesday and Thursday primetime drama "Good Man."
Set to make its premiere in September, "Good Man" follows the story of how Kang Ma-roo (played by Song), who is a smart medical student, gets burned by the love of his life, Han Jae-hee (played by actress Park Si-yeon).
After getting emotionally hurt from the relationship, Kang changes from a nice guy to a bad one, and decides to get his revenge on Han by using Seo Eun-ki (played by actress Moon Chae-won).
"I feel that the audience will be surprised to see what a great actor Song is through his transformation from a nice guy to a bad guy," an official with the show was quoted as saying.
The cast of "Good Man," written by scenarist Lee Kyung-hee of "I'm Sorry, I Love You" (KBS, 2004), also includes actor and TV personality Lee Kwang-soo who is portraying himself as Kang's best friend. Actor Lee Sang-yeob and actress Lee Yu-bi are co-starring in the forthcoming show.
