MBC's glowing TV series "Light and Shadow" remained the most-watched television drama on Monday and Tuesday this week.
"Light and Shadow" comfortably sat atop the Monday and Tuesday TV ratings chart this week, attracting 20.2 percent of the total TV audience, according to data compiled by TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics).
Following a little behind the chart topper, SBS' "Fashion King" ended the series' run by maintaining the second place with 11 percent of the total viewers during the same period.
The 20-part drama, which kicked off its air on March 19, has been showing stable numbers in ratings between eight and ten percent, overthrowing the production crew's initial anticipation that the four young main actors --Yoo A-in, Shin Se-gyeong, Kwon Yuri and Lee Je-hoon -- will help the show bring in higher records.
Leaving only two episodes until the drama's end, KBS' "Love Rain" again showed a weak performance on the chart this week by scoring 4.7 percent rating, the data showed.
In the meantime, AGB Nielson Media Research reported this morning that "Light and Shadow" grabbed another win on Monday and Tuesday with 21.3 percent, which is 1.3 percentage points higher than TNmS' figure.
