Big Bang peaks at No. 1 on cable music program “M! CountDown”

K-pop boy band Big Bang scored another win with one of their title tracks “BLUE” on a cable channel Mnet’s weekly music program “M! CountDown” on Thursday.

Big Bang, who has been sweeping local music charts with their fifth mini-album “ALIVE,” snagged the top place on this week’s “M! CountDown” with “BLUE,” which is one of their six title songs from the seven-track album.

However, the group did not take part in last night's performance but was crowned th winners against miss A’s “Touch” and John Park’s “Falling,” who were other candidates for this week’s winner.

As a replacement of their acceptance speech, Big Bang recorded a video of themselves that signals their comeback to the program next week.

Other artists on last night's show include FTIsland, Se7en, K. Will, Tony An, SMASH, Nine Muses, Brian, DAL★SHABET and B.A.P.
