The two celebrities will fulfill their duties as promotional ambassadors during the annual event from April 26 to May 4, starting with the first press conference which wil be held on April 3, the organizing committee said through a press release on Tuesday.

At the press conference, the invited films to JIFF will be announced and the two actors are told to be joining different events prepared by the committee.

"I'm bursting with high expectations in being the PR ambassador for JIFF following in the footsteps of Lee Je-hoon, Song Joong-gi and Jung Il-woo. I will do my best in bringing more awareness for the fest," Seulong said in the statement.

Son expressed her excitement and added, "I hope to create memorable moments with the audience and I'm going to watch as many movies as possible during the festival."
