Korean girl group KARA has added another feat to their list of achievements in Japan, seeing their second full-length Japanese album "Super Girl" go triple platinum.
According to the February data by the Record Industry Association of Japan, KARA's "Super Girl" earned the title of triple platinum after selling over 750,000 editions upon its release in the country on November of last year.
"Super Girl," produced in three editions, contains their hit Japanese songs such as "Jet Coaster Love," "GO GO SUMMER!" and "Winter Magic" as well as tracks from their third full-length album in Korea.
KARA, composed of members Gu Hara, Han Seung-yeon, Park Gyu-lee, Kang Ji-young and Nicole, is currently one of the most successful Korean girl groups to break into the Japanese market.
The girls are preparing for their upcoming first Asia tour "KARASIA" which will kick off in Seoul this weekend. They will then head off to Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand on later dates.
