A TV series starring Korean actors Lee Min-ho and Son Ye-jin will soon begin its run in Japan, according to Lee's agency Starhaus Entertainment.
Starhaus announced in a press release on Thursday that Lee and Son starrer "Personal Taste" will air on Japan's TBS starting February 16.
Earlier this week, Starhaus stated that Lee's action series "City Hunter" was to air five times a week through Japan's Fuji TV from February 6 to 29.
"It is quite significant and meaningful that two dramas by the same actor will air during the same time slot as the other," an official with a Japanese broadcasting company was quoted as saying. "The audience will be able to see two different sides of Lee."
A rep with Starhaus explained that Lee has been offered a number of projects from Japan since last year though he is currently taking a break from his activities.
"Personal Taste," which aired in Korea for two months in March 2010 on MBC, tells the story of a young architect named Jung Jin-ho (Lee) who pretends to be gay to live with Park Gae-in (Son) who wanted a male gay friend.
The show, also starring 2AM's Seulong and Kim Ji-seok, made its premiere in Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand.
