Park Jin-young to reprise role in "Dream High" season 2

Singer-producer Park Jin-young, also chief of talent agency JYP Entertainment, will reprise his role as a teacher in the second season of hit TV series "Dream High."

The news came on Thursday through the show's producers CJ Media and Holym Co., the latter a drama production company set up through the joint investment of agencies KEYEAST and JYP.

In the first season of the show which told of students attending a performing arts school aimed at cultivating celebrities, Park played English teacher Yang Jin-man who considered himself a musical mentor for his students.

In the upcoming season, Yang will be the only teacher left at Kirin Art School after the school underwent restructuring.

Other celebrities set to appear in the second "Dream High" are boy band 2AM member Jeong Jinwoon, girl group SISTAR member Hyolyn, T-ara member Jiyeon, and actress Kang Sora.

The show is set to air on major broadcasting channel KBS2 starting January 30.
