Korean female idols KARA has topped the prestigious Oricon chart with their second full-length Japanese album, according to its official website.
Oricon's website showed that KARA's latest release "Super Girl” which hit stores on November 23, moved 73,094 copies to place first on the daily music chart.
"Super Girl," produced in three editions, contains their hit Japanese songs such as "Jet Coaster Love," "GO GO SUMMER!" and "Winter Magic" as well as tracks from their third full-length album in Korea.
KARA, composed of members Gu Hara, Han Seung-yeon, Park Gyu-lee, Kang Ji-young and Nicole, is currently one of the most successful Korean girl groups to break into the Japanese market.
The girls were recently nominated for the grand prize for their song "GO GO SUMMER!" at the upcoming 53rd Japan Record Awards which will air on TBS on December 30.
