Korean duo TVXQ will release a new Japanese single next month, according to the group’s official Japanese website on Wednesday.
The website revealed on that the boys are set to release a new Japanese album on July 20 which will be produced in two editions, while its name and track list have yet to be revealed.
TVXQ, formerly composed of five members Hero Jaejoong, Mickey Yuchun, Max Changmin and U-Know Yunho, enjoyed high popularity throughout Asia as one the leading dance groups in K-pop scene since their debut in 2004.
However, after disputing with agency SM Entertainment over the unfairness of their 13-year exclusive contract, Jaejoong, Yuchun and Junsu halted their activities as TVXQ and instead formed trio JYJ. TVXQ is now a duo group led by two remaining members Changmin and Yunho.
The duo have been enjoying a successful return to the local music scene with their album "Why (Keep Your Head Down)," which was released earlier this year, scoring the top prize on various televised music programs and taking over a number of online music charts.
They have also released the repackaged and Japanese version of album "Why (Keep Your Head Down)" which has fared well both in Japan and Korea.
The boys are set to take the stage at Le Zenith de Paris for "SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR in PARIS" with fellow SM Entertainment labelmates on June 10 and 11.
