BEAST rules Mnet live stage for 2nd time with "Fiction"

Boy group BEAST has topped music cable channel Mnet’s live music show for a second consecutive week

The six-member band was named a winner on yesterday’s live music show “M! CountDown” following last week with the song “Fiction,” a title track to their first regular album “Fiction and Fact” released in mid-May.

“First of all we would like to thank our parents who have raised us and we pass this honor to all our fans who have showed us much love and support,” said the members of BEAST in their acceptance speech while girl group A PINK, who belong to the same agency as BEAST, joined them on their encore stage.

This is the group’s third win on a televised music chart in total but second win with the song “Fiction” alone, for they won KBS’ “Music Bank” last Friday with their other song “On Rainy Days.”

Other K-pop artists that took part in Thursday’s live stage included Jang Jae-in, Kim Ji-soo, Boy Friend, Jewelry, Alex, 5dolls, December, FTIsland, Jang Woo-hyuk, Baek Ji-young, Secret, Kang Hani and Clover.
