BEAST to kick off first leg of Asia tour in Malaysia next month

Korean idols BEAST will kick off the first leg of their Asia tour in Malaysia next month, confirmed their agency Cube Entertainment.

"The first stop of BEAST's Asia tour will be in Malaysia at the Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach on July 1," a PR official from Cube told 10Asia over the phone on Thursday.

She then explained that the boys will head off to Singapore the following day for their performance while future concert dates will be announced later.

The official also said that BEAST will promote themselves in Asia throughout July and return to Korea in August. "The boys will rest after their Asia tour and probably begin preparing a new album."

Composed of members Du-jun, Hyun-seung, Yo-seop, Dong-woon, Gi-kwang and Jun-hyung, BEAST made their debut in October 2009 with their first mini-album “"BEAST IS THE B2ST" and has since produced hit songs such as “Bad Girl,” “Shock" and “Soom.”

The boys have made a successful return to the local music scene with their first full-length album "Fiction and Fact" and have been busy promoting title tracks "Fiction" and "On Rainy Days." They also released the music video of their second Japanese single "BAD GIRL."
