Several photographs of Korean actor Lee Min-ho on the set of his new SBS drama have been revealed, raising anticipation for the upcoming drama amongst fans.
On Wednesday, the show’s promoter 3HW unveiled a number of pictures of Lee riding an elephant in Thailand for TV series "City Hunter" while other photos showed the actor and his co-star Kim Sang-ho on top of a one hundred-year-old tree.
"Lee was very professional and enjoyed shooting the scenes while riding the elephant even though it was his first time," a producer from the show was quoted as saying. "We were also able to complete the scene with Lee and Kim on the tree without using any body doubles or them suffering injuries.”
"City Hunter," originally a Japanese manga series by Tsukasa Hojo, is about a private detective named Ryo Saeba who works to get rid of crime in the city of Tokyo during the latter half of the 1980s. This will be the first time the comic will be turned into a drama and based in present time Seoul.
Producer Jin Hyuk of hit dramas "Brilliant Legacy" and "Princess Prosecutor" and writer Hwang Eun-kyung of "The President" will collaborate to create "City Hunter."
The series, which also stars Park Min-young, KARA member Gu Hara and Lee Jun-hyuk, is scheduled to air on May 25 after on-going drama "49 Days" finishes its run.
