K-pop idols 2PM's Nichkhun, f(x)'s Sulli and 2AM's Seulong have been cast in an upcoming SBS single-episode sitcom.

"The three singers have been cast as the main characters in the single-episode sitcom tentatively titled 'Welcome to the Show,’" an official from SBS told 10Asia over the phone on Tuesday. "We have plans to extend it for several more episodes if we receive favorable reviews."

The official went onto to explain that filming for the sitcom began on the set of SBS' "Inkigayo" on Sunday and will air in mid-March.

Nichkhun, whose full name is Nichkun Buck Horvejkul, is a Thai-American singer who was discovered and trained by JYP Entertainment. As one of the members of 2PM, they recently expanded their singing careers into the Japanese music market.

Outside of his group activities, Nichkhun has appeared on a number of variety programs such as MBC’s reality TV series “We Got Married.”

Seulong made his debut as one of the members in the four-member ballad group 2AM in 2008. They are well known for their many hit songs including "This Song," "Can't Let You Go Even If I Die," and "I Did Wrong."

He has branched out into the entertainment industry with an appearance on MBC's hit series "Personal Taste" and starred in the omnibus film "Acoustic" last year.

Born Choi Jin-ri, Sulli made her debut in the entertainment industry in the SBS TV series "Seo Dong Yo" in 2005. She is also one of the members of five-member girl group f(x) composed of other members Victoria, Krystal, Luna and Amber.

They are popular for their hit singles including “LA chA TA” and “NU ABO.”
