Several pictures of Korean actor Lee Jun-ki, who is currently serving the military, were revealed on his official Twitter account (http://twitter.com/JGshock) over the weekend.
In the photos uploaded on Sunday, Lee is seen smiling brightly with a salute while donning the military's new uniform with a comment below saying, "This is the new and stronger Republic of Korea's new military uniform~!! Hope everyone is doing well. The day when we can see each other again is slowly coming. I wish happiness and good health to my fans all over the world~Love U all!!"
Fans who have seen the picture responded, "It's great to hear from you!" "You look so handsome in the new uniform!" "I can't wait to see you act again in a drama or movie. Until the day we see each other again!"
Lee entered the military last May and is serving his two year military duty at Korea's Defense Media Agency in Seoul. While there, he was cast in the musical production of "Voyage of Life," a special commemorating the Korean War, alongside fellow actors Joo Ji-hoon and Kim Da-hyun.
Then last month, Lee was appointed as a DJ for a segment of the military's Friends-FM whose title is translated to “What I Want to Give and Stories I Want to Hear.”
Lee became a household name throughout Asia after playing a woman-like clown in the 2005 hit film "The King and the Clown" and starred in many notable television dramas including "My Girl" (SBS, 2005), "Time Between Dog And Wolf" (MBC, 2007), "Iljimae" (SBS, 2008)" and most recently "Hero" (MBC, 2009).
