2PM’s Chansung Eyeing Joo Won’s New TV Series

K-pop boy band 2PM member Chansung is weighing on taking a role in Joo Won’s upcoming MBC drama.A JYP Entertainment official told the magazine Wednesday that the singer is eyeing his role in “The War of Mystery Couple” [translated title], which will likely hit the airwaves next January.The officials added that the show's production company Apple Tree Pictures has suggested the rookie actor to play the role of a secret agent.Penned by acclaimed scenarist Chun Sung-il of “The Slave Hunters” (KBS, 2010), the drama will portray romance of undercover agents who work at the National Intelligence Service.Joo Won, the "Bridal Mask” actor and “2 Days 1 Night” regular, has already confirmed to play a young secret agent named Gilro.Chansung, the youngest member of 2PM, made his small screen debut in “High Kick” (MBC, 2006-2007) and expanded his acting career into Japan with his role in the action drama "Kaito Royale" (TBS, 2011).※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
