IU to release album in Japan next month

Korean songstress IU will be expanding her singing career overseas with the release of an album in Japan due out next month. Various Japanese online music websites revealed that IU will release her first album in the country on December 14 and it will be composed of six tracks, in Korean, including her hit tune "Good Day" and duet song "Nagging" with 2AM's Seulong. In the meantime, her agency is said to be in talks with an agency in Japan to manage IU's activities in the country. IU, whose real name is Lee Ji-eun, made her debut with her first mini-album "Lost and Found" in September 2008. She has produced a number of hit songs including "Boo," "Marshmallow" and "Nagging" with 2AM member Seulong.
