After School to release 1st Japanese single next month

Korean female idols After School will release their first Japanese single next month, according to their official Japanese website on Friday.The girls will reveal the Japanese version of their hit song "Bang!" on August 17, while holding a performance for it at the Akasaka BLITZ in Tokyo of Japan on July 17. After School prepared for their debut by opening their official Japanese website in February as a channel for them to communicate with their fans in the country as well as recording the song "Make It Happen" with Japanese songstress Amuro Namie in March. After School made their debut in January 2009 with their first single album "New Schoolgirl" featuring the title track "Ah" and also gained popularity through their second mini-album "Because of You," their third mini-album "Bang!" and Christmas album “HAPPY PLEDIS The 1st Album.” The girls recently returned to the local music scene with their first full-length album "VIRGIN" and have been promoting title track "Shampoo" on various televised music programs. ※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
